The site is filled with information and current updates on what is happening in the village of Mariemont and its Village Square. Mariemont is one of America's finest planned communities, founded by Mary Emery in the 1920s. The one-square mile village is brimming with business vitality, opportunity and variety.
Located in Mariemont is one of Greater Cincinnati's finest hotels, a historic theater, numerous restaurants and a diverse multitude of specialty shops and stores. This site is designed to bring visitors up-to-date on the "buzz" of Mariemont and stimulate the residents and the village's neighbors to come and visit. So feel free to look around and click on each business to learn what is new with the store, if there are any promotions or events that you may be interested in attending and other interesting buzz that is available.
Visitors may also read village council minutes on the site. The council meetings are attended every second and fourth Monday of each month and the minutes are written in a comprehensive, coherent style that explains in detail every decision and action made by village officials. Just click on "True Buzz"; and then select "Village Council Briefs" under the category search.
If you are a first-time visitor, be sure to check out the site's news archives, which contain business biographies and feature stories. For example, if you are interested in learning more about the businesses located at The Strand, simply click on the category search "Strand" and you will find all there is to know about the owners, the businesses and their histories.
The site is also currently under reconstruction and soon will possess a more in-depth look and feel, which will include more pictures and village insight. So be sure to check back with the Buzz regularly and catch a glimpse at what is new and what to expect in the future for Mariemont.
